On Saturday, October 17, 2026, Graymist invites you to a full-day celebration dedicated to the timeless art of Nantucket basketry. Hosted in our shop and studio in quaint Huron Village in Cambridge, MA, this special event brings together curious beginners, craft enthusiasts, and seasoned weavers alike for an inspiring day of hands-on creativity and community.
Throughout the day, guests can participate in specialized workshops—including crafting a 5" Nantucket basket wall clock or a delicate 1" pin cushion—or simply gather in the evening with fellow enthusiasts to enjoy fine wine, delicious bites, and our attendee basket exhibition.

Open to all skill levels! Learn foundational Nantucket basketry in this guided 3-hour workshop as you craft a completed 5" wall clock to take home. All materials included.

Nantucket Basket Style Pin Cushion Workshop ($40)
1-hour beginner-friendly sessions (1:30–2:30, 2:30–3:30, 3:30–4:30, 4:30–5:30). Craft a 1" round pin cushion with Cherry, Oak, or Walnut rim.
