The story of Moby Dick is based on the  true story of the whaling ship Essex that was from Nantucket.  The Essex was sunk by a sperm whale in 1820.  Most of the crew on the Essex perished, but a few lived to tell the incredible story. 

This whale design is inspired by both the true story & Herman Melville's account of the story in Moby Dick.  If you've never read the book, pick it up - its the perfect summer adventure tale!

At the same time, you'll be doing better for our planet and real sea life!  Using eco-friendly Swedish dishcloths instead of plastic sponges or paper towels helps prevent synthetic microfibers and plastics from seeping into our waterways and oceans.  You'll be eliminating some of the 13 billion pounds of paper towel that are used and tossed in a year in the U.S. alone - and this can save you big $$ in the process too!
